LEADERSHIP

CARL G. BERRY RRP

We regret the passing of our dear friend and esteemed colleague, Carl Berry. Carl was an astute observer of emerging trends in the realm of resort real estate. He was also a consummate gentleman. His influence is clearly imbued in the concept planning for Port St. George and his distinguished legacy will be further enhanced by completion of the Port St. George project. We will miss him.

With over 35 years experience in resort development and shared ownership Carl, Founder and former CEO of Star Resort Group LLC, was credited with the very first, fee paying ownership timeshare project and the first urban timeshare project in San Francisco. Over the years he was the driving force behind the highly successful and world renowned Manhattan Club in New York City the largest urban shared ownership project in the world. His projects span the length and breadth of the Americas and include home sites, condos and shared ownership; fractional interests and timeshare. He was a full member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and a member of its Silver Flight of the Recreational Development Council. He was also a former Chairman of the American Resort Development Association (ARDA). The resort developments shown below are just some of those Carl has worked on during his impressive career.
